Introduction to Shenzhen Institute of Computing Science
Shenzhen Institute of Computing Sciences (SICS) is one of top ten Fundamental Research Institutes in Shenzhen, funded by the municipal government of Shenzhen in November 2018.
The institute is committed to advancing fundamental research in China, developing core computing systems,and taking global lead in research areas in connection with big data analytics.
It currently hosts three (foreign) Members of Chinese Academy of Sciences, a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS),and dozens of world-class engineers and researchers from China, Europe and US.

Requirements
Applicants should be a researcher in data science or related field who have published good research papers.
Applicants should have or will soon have a PhD in computer science or related fields. Postdoctoral applicants should be under 35 years of age.
Priority will be given to applicants with research backgrounds related to the following areas: logic, complexity, approximate computation theory, parallel computation theory, incremental computation theory, data quality, databases, distributed systems, system development or equivalent experience.
Salary and benefits
Salary: Annual comprehensive income is negotiable (above 500,000 RMB), with a high proportion of paying five social insurances and one housing fund referring to the standard in public institutions.
