Biography

Dr. Min Xie received her Ph.D. degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Her research focuses on data analysis and information extraction and has proposed a query algorithm for minimizing multiple users’regrets under multi-objective decision-making. She has published papers on prestigious conferences and journals including SIGMOD, ICDE and VLDBJ.

Research Interests

Database and Data mining.– Query Processing, e.g., the skyline query, top-k query and k-regret query.
– Spatial Database, e.g., time series and trajectories.
